04/29/2004 Entry: "Back to Life Back to Reality."

So I went into the city to see Caron Wheeler formery of Soul II Soul
perform live @ BLVD.
Nothing like hearing "Back to Life" up close and personal. I'm also waiting
for her new album to come out too.
Hard to believe that after 16+ years her voice and that song still bangs.

Afterwards while waiting for the F train at Second Ave
(the only drawback of being in the L.E.S.)

I saw a sticker that read:

"How is it that WTC 7, which collasped roughly 7 hours after the towers
experienced a structural failure within its entire base, the area of the
building least damaged by debris and fire, at precisely the same moment
throughout the entire structure-a situation many structural engineers agree
is impossible in a chaotic event like that of 9/11?
It is claimed the building fell due to fire, no steel framed structure in
history has ever collapsed due to fire.
Before you tear this down,
Think about that for a minute

I typed it out since my phone battery was dead and I couldn't snap a pic of
it.
Hmmm? "Back to Life. Back to Reality"
I had heard of rumors of earth tremors in lower Manhattan over 2.0 on the Richter Scale 10-12 seconds before each of the towers fell and the reason why WTC #7 fell at all was due to a controlled collapse.
I dug around on the web and found this article and this site which actually has streaming video of the buildings collapse.Come to think of it I use to go by WTC 7 everyday and looking at the "damage" I couldnt see no way the building would fall due to "fire"
